What is SunSense?

In 2001, several dermatologists, educators, and school nurses interested in educating children and families about the critical importance of sun protection established the SunSense Committee. This committee was funded through a grant from the Marin Community Foundation.

Our Mission

To increase awareness of sun protection, to promote sun safety education, and to promote sun-protective behavior, with an emphasis on skin protection strategies.
