Did you know that most of your sun exposure occurs before you turn 18? That means that sun damage that you discover years from now is the result of not taking care your skin today!

Easy things you can do to protect yourself from skin cancer

  • Apply sunscreen every morning before you leave the house. Apply it again at lunchtime.
  • Choose clothing that protects your skin
  • Wear a hat, sunglasses and UV lip protection outside.
  • Seek shade when outside.
  • Use water resistant sunscreen when playing sports or playing in water
  • Read the pages in this website and learn about what sun exposure does to your skin and eyes.
